Emotions and Empathy

Empathy means to understand how someone else feels by thinking about how you would feel in their place.
To understand how we feel and how others feel we need to be able to recognise what different emotions look and feel like.
We will print and share this with our junior buddy class to help them better understand emotions and empathy.
  1. Start by looking up the meaning of the word in Google. Use the "define:word" function to look it up.
  2. Write two sentences that explain what the emotion you are working on means and when you might feel like this.
  3. Practice how this emotion will look, use a mirror and your friends. Then take a photo and insert it into the table.
For example:
Ecstatic means feeling like you are floating in happiness and delight, you feel absolutely wonderful. I feel like this when everything is going well and people who matter to me praise me for doing a brilliant job.
